Kharibari, 21st October: 50 families of Rupan Jote of Booth-91 under Kharibari-Buraganj division joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The joining was conducted under the leadership of Partha Sarkar, head of No. 6 Shakti Kendra. The new members were handed over the BJP flag and were warmly welcomed into the party.
Central Committee members Ganesh Chandra Devnath, Divisional President Kalyan Kumar Prasad, General Secretary Shaktijay Baroi and Mandal Yuva Morcha President Tarun Singh, Divisional Vice President Arun Das, Shakti Kendra Head Partha Sarkar, Booth President Sushant Burman, Mandal Member Laxmi Singh and other activists were present on the occasion.
