Siliguri, 05th December: The 41st North Bengal Book Fair is scheduled to be organized from 8 to 17 December at Kanchenjunga Stadium premises in Siliguri. On Tuesday, the aforementioned information was disclosed through a press conference at Siliguri Journalists Club.
Reportedly, during the press conference, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb while speaking on behalf of the organization highlighted the year’s theme to be Sukumar Roy’s prominent work “Abol Tabol”.
Further, it was revealed that a grand procession would be held on December 9 from Baghajatin Park in Siliguri and the book fair will be officially inaugurated on December 10.
Similar to the previous years, the book fair would hold stalls of renowned publishers comprising 75 book stalls this year. In addition to the book fair cultural programs will be organized every evening.
