Siliguri, 14th December: In the last 24 hours, 39 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in various places of Darjeeling district, according to a statement issued by the concerned health department.
According to the release, 14 people from Siliguri Municipal Corporation, 02 from Kharibari, 05 from Sukuna, 01 from Kurseong Municipality, 07 from Matigara, 02 from Mirik, 01 from Mirik Municipality, 05 from Naxalbari, 05 from Pulbazar Bijanbari and 01 from Sukhia Pokhari were infected by the virus.
Likewise, 24 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported from Siliguri Municipal Area (including Jalpaiguri). In addition to this, 66 patients in home isolation have reportedly recovered.
