3 fresh COVID-19 positive cases reported in Kurseong sub-division 

Kurseong, 12th June: Kurseong sub-division reported three fresh coronavirus cases, today.

Out of the three infected, one is a resident of Naya Kaman, a few kilometers away from Tindhare under Kurseong Sub-division. As per the report, the person had recently returned from Delhi and underwent a swab test at the Kurseong Sub-division Hospital on June 08.

The second person who also tested positive for the virus was staying in a quarantine center near SABDA Sanatorium Kurseong. Meanwhile, the third contracted the virus after coming in contact with a COVID-19 positive person in Kurseong’s Spring Side area and was staying in a quarantine centre in Darjeeling.

In this context, Health Officer of Sukna Block Dr. Hizbul Malik informed that as per the swab tests taken at the Kurseong Sub-division Hospital on June 08, one from the Kurseong Sub-division and two from Kurseong Municipal area have tested positive for the virus.
