Siliguri, 11th December: The 23rd District Conference of CPIM was organized in Siliguri. The two-day conference was organized at CPI(M) office Anil Biswas Bhavan today.
The party leaders began the district convention by hoisting the flag in front of the party office and garlanding the Shaheed Bedi. During this, Left leader Ashok Bhattacharya, Jibesh Sarkar, CPIM State Secretary Suryakant Mishra and other leaders were present.
Through this conference, the demand for the upcoming municipal and departmental elections was made. Also, the programme to be held in the coming days were discussed. Apart from this, a new district committee was formed.
