2 arrested along with sharp weapons and a pick-up van in Siliguri

Siliguri, 26th January: Based on a tip-off, the NJP Police arrested 2 dacoits along with sharp weapons and a pick-up van.
According to sources, the employees of the Jiaganj petrol pump adjacent to Fulbari sighted few suspicious men moving around the petrol pump premises and immediately informed the NJP Police.
Upon receiving the news, the NJP police launched a covert operation and successfully nabbed the accused when they attempted to flee away from the scene.
However, 10 other people escaped. A pickup van along with some sharp weapons was recovered from their possession.
The arrested accused have been produced at the Jalpaiguri court, today.
