Rajganj, 14th February: The 161st birth anniversary of Thakur Panchanan Barma was observed on Saturday in Rajganj.
The event was held at Chairikhari on the banks of the Karatoya River in Mehendighat, Majhiali Gram Panchayat, Rajganj block. The Kshatriya Rajbanshi Kulguru Kulshishya and Bhakt Samaj Seva Samiti paid tribute by offering garlands and flowers at the statue of Thakur Panchanan Barma.
Present at the event were Karunakanta Adhikari, president of the Jalpaiguri district committee, along with Toyal Singh Roy, Bhupen Chandra Roy, and other dignitaries.
