16-year-old girl found hanging from the noose in Phansidewa

Phansidewa, 19th March: In a tragic incident, the lifeless body of a 16-year-old girl was discovered hanging from a noose in Phansidewa. The incident unfolded on the evening of March 19 in the Jugibhita area, falling under the jurisdiction of Phansidewa-II Gram Panchayat. The deceased has been identified as Muskan Parvin, a 16-year-old ninth-grade student.


According to sources close to the family, Muskan was at home as usual in the evening. However, upon her mother’s return later that evening, a horrifying scene awaited her as she found Muskan’s lifeless body hanging from a noose.

The authorities were immediately alerted to the situation, prompting the NJP police to swiftly arrive at the scene. The police promptly recovered the body for further examination, which will be conducted as part of a post-mortem procedure at the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).


The police have wasted no time in launching a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Muskan’s untimely demise, aim to shed light on the tragic incident and provide answers to the grieving family and the community at large.
