Siliguri, 08th July: Sensation prevailed in the Farabari Nepali Basti of Siliguri after a massive 15-foot long python was rescued from the area.
Locals spotted the python attempting to swallow an entire goat that triggered widespread commotion. Subsequently, the authorities of Dabgram Range were alerted.
The forest officials promptly arrived and rescued the python. It was later reported that the python would be released into the wild in the Baikunthapur forest.
