Siliguri, 16th July: The Pradhan Nagar Police and Excise Department confiscated 1400 litres of country-made liquor from different areas under Pradhan Nagar Police Station.
It has been learned that the police received allegations that liquor was being made illegally in different areas including Debidanga, Milan More, Uttar Palash. Following this, the Police and Excise Department conducted joint operations and seized 1400 litres of illegal liquor. However, no arrest has been made so far. According to police sources, such operations will continue in the coming days as well.
