Darjeeling, 01st May: The Darjeeling Zonal Committee of the Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxists (CPRM) observed the 137th May Day at the party headquarters today. The program was inaugurated by senior central leader Comrade Bale Dukpa, who hoisted the party flag.
Following the flag hoisting ceremony, CPRM Darjeeling Zonal Secretary Comrade Raju Moktan lit a lamp, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs and late party leaders. During today’s program, CPRM Central Deputy Secretary Comrade Shekhar Chhetri made a brief statement on the significance of May Day.
The event was attended by several members of the women’s wing, including Sushma Lama, Comrade Seema Ghising, Comrade Bina Tamang, Comrade Dawa Doma, Sangeeta Lama, and Sanjita Tamang. In addition, CPRM Central member ND Thapa and CPRM General Council members Sanjay Ghising and Ramesh Khati were also present at the gathering.
