Rajganj, 20th December: 110 people from Rajganj left BJP and other parties and joined TMC, on Sunday, under the leadership of Jalpaiguri Yuva President Saikat Chatterjee and Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy.
Reportedly, the programme was held at Kamarvita of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat under the initiative of Rajganj Block Trinamool Yuva Congress.
In this regard, Saikat Chatterjee said that around 110 new members joined TMC today. He further claimed that leaving TMC does not affect their party strength at all. He asserted that the party will come back to power in the state with more than 210 seats.
Rajganj Block President Laikkha Mohan Roy, Rajganj Block Yuva President Tushar Dutta, Binnaguri Pradhan Shashi Chandra Barman, and many others were present during the programme.
