Rajganj, 09th October: A total of 105 students of Ambari Chinta Mohan High School in Rajganj received bicycles under the West Bengal Government’s ‘Sarathi’ scheme.
Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Monika Adhikari, along with other dignitaries, handed over the bicycles to the students during a programme held at the school.
Those present at the event included Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Upa Pradhan Pratima Singha Roy, Birendranath Sarkar, Sujan Roy, Ajit Dutta, Ajay Adhikari, Swagat Roy and Tapas Roy, among others.
Following the programme, Monika Adhikari said bicycles had been distributed among 105 students of Class 9 at the school. She also claimed that the bicycles provided under the current government’s ‘Sarathi’ scheme were of better quality than those distributed under the previous government’s Sabuj Sathi scheme.
