Siliguri, 27th June: A tragic road accident on ISKCON Mandir Road in Ward No. 40 of Siliguri has led to the untimely demise of a youth. The deceased, identified as Ashish Sharma from the Jaigaon area, had been residing in Siliguri for work.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Wednesday when Ashish was travelling on his scooty from ISKCON Bazar towards the ISKCON More. During this, he was struck and fatally injured by a PWD vehicle, leading to his immediate death at the scene of the accident.
