Siliguri, 30th July: With the aim of promoting brotherhood during Muharram, the youth of Ward No. 28 in Siliguri organized food and drinks for the participants in Muharram procession. This gesture showcased the spirit of unity and harmony between different communities in the city.
On Saturday, as the Muslim community celebrated Muharram across the country, the Tazia procession took place in Siliguri with a large number of participants. The youth’s effort to arrange 200 quintals of Khicidi for the people involved reflected the essence of togetherness and shared celebrations during religious festivals, emphasizing the message of brotherhood that can be achieved through such gestures.
