Siliguri, 21st September: Sensation prevailed in the area of Bagdogra after the body of a youth was found hanging from the noose. The deceased has been identified as Sushant Barman (23), a resident of the Viman Nagar area of Bagdogra.
According to the report, Sushant went to bed around 12 o’clock last night. When he did not open his door for a long time this morning, the family members grew suspicious and were forced to break open the door. On entering, they found Sushant’s lifeless body hanging from a noose.
As soon as the news was received, the Bagdogra police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Police are probing the entire incident.
