Rajganj, 20th October: A shocking incident has unfolded in Paghalupara, located in the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block, where a young man was found hanging in his home. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Asim Roy.
According to local sources and family members, Asim worked as a painter and lived with his mother, elder brother, and sister-in-law. He reportedly had dinner and went to bed the previous night. However, his family found his body hanging from the noose the following morning.
Later, the family notified the Ambari Outpost police regarding the incident. Authorities arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
