Rajganj, 17th January: Youth for Peace Day was celebrated in Rajganj, on Monday. The day was observed with the assistance of Jalpaiguri Nehru Yuva Kendra under the Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports and also under the management of Daspara Navdisha Samaj Kalyan.
On behalf of the Rajganj branch of Navdisha, Anisur Rahman said, “Local youths were made aware of spreading the message of peace in their respective areas. The main objective of the Youth for Peace Day is to create awareness about peace in the society and the country.”
Local social workers Khairul Mohammad, Biplab Das, and others were present in the programme.
