Kharibari, 11th September: A tragic incident surfaced in the Dhambhita Jote area of Buraganj, Kharibari, where a youth, identified as Hriday Singha (23), allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself while being in an inebriated state.
According to family sources, the youth’s family had scolded him on Tuesday evening for being drunk. Later, they found him hanging inside the house. He was immediately taken to Kharibari Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The body has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. Kharibari Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
