Siliguri, 20th June: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth was recovered from a flower shop at Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Sanju Biswas, a resident of the Raichanga area of Alipurduar.
According to local sources, Sanju had come to work at the flower shop about a week ago. He lived in the shop and his owner used to call him every morning to check on him. When Sanju did not pick up the phone this morning, the owner came to open the shop and found Sanju hanging from the noose inside.
Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to Noth Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Local shopkeepers stated that Sanju lived in the shop and did not interact much with the others. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the matter.
