Siliguri, 25th March: In a significant breakthrough, the Pradhan Nagar police station has arrested a youth with stolen goods. The arrested accused has been identified as Karan Singh.
As per reports, a complaint of theft in an empty house in Bhanu Bhakta Sarani area of Gurung Basti was lodged at Pradhan Nagar police station on March 17. The complainant mentioned theft of brass utensils and gas cylinder from the house.
During the investigation, Karan Singh was arrested from Siliguri Junction area on Sunday night. After subsequent interrogaton of the accused, the police recovered the stolen items from a hut on the banks of Mahananda River. On Monday, the police presented the accused before the Siliguri court.
