Siliguri, 10th February: In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Pradhan Nagar police station arrested a young man with a firearm before committing a major crime. The arrested accused has been identified as Arjun Prasad (22), a resident of the Mallaguri area under Ward No. 01 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC).
As per reports, on Friday night, the Pradhan Nagar police detained Arjun Prasad from the Kuli Para underpass area of Ward No. 01, based on suspicion. During the search, a firearm hidden in his waist was recovered. Subsequently, he was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm. Additionally, a round of ammunition was also recovered. Sources revealed that the accused youth has been involved in several criminal acts. On Saturday, the accused has been produced in the Siliguri court.
