Naxalbari, 24th June: The police arrested a youth identified as Ravi Singh, a resident of Quarter More in Kharibari, for allegedly selling stolen items. The incident took place in the Totaram area of Naxalbari.
Police sources revealed that the authorities received a tip-off and subsequently arrested the accused. Following a search, the officials recovered stolen items, including 4 brass plates, 2 glasses, five lamps, and buckets.
On Monday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court. At present, the Naxalbari police is engaged in further investigation of the entire incident.
