Siliguri, 25th August: The Ashighar police has arrested a youth found in possession of 47 ATM cards from various banks. The accused, identified as Bablu Das, is a resident of Kundu Pukur Math area, under Ward No. 38 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation area.
According to reports, the police conducted a raid in the Madhya Chayan Para area of Ashighar based on a tip-off on Saturday night. The suspect was found in suspicious circumstances, and a search revealed the 47 ATM cards from different banks in his possession. Following this, the police detained Bablu Das for further questioning and subsequent arrest.
The Ashighar police are set to present the accused before the Jalpaiguri court on Sunday.
