Siliguri, 01st September: The Siliguri Cyber Crime Police arrested a youth, for threatening to viralize an obscene picture of a woman on social media. The arrested youth has been identified as Harsh Golyan, a resident of Siliguri’s Khalpara.
According to police sources, a few days ago, Harsh Golyan and the victim became friends through social media platforms. Their friendship gradually turned into love and they grew very close to each other. Taking advantage of this, Harsh took a lewd photo of the girl and threatened to post it on the social media.
Eventually, on August 31, the girl lodged a complaint against Harsh at Siliguri Cyber Crime Police Station. Based on the complaint, the accused youth was arrested from the Khalpara area.
