Siliguri, 11th December: Young students of Siliguri left everyone impressed with their innovative scientific creations, showcasing models ranging from hydraulic bridges and hydroelectric projects to automatic water spray systems and several other concepts.
On Thursday, Netaji Boys’ Primary School in Siliguri organised a Science and Handicraft Exhibition, where students from various classes participated with great enthusiasm.
While such exhibitions are commonly seen in large private schools, only a handful of government schools undertake similar initiatives. At Thursday’s exhibition, students displayed a wide range of science models prepared over the past month with the guidance of teachers and support from their parents.
The school authorities stated that the primary objective of the event was to foster scientific curiosity and enhance creativity among students. Every class was involved in the initiative, ensuring wide participation.
The exhibition was held on the school grounds on Thursday morning, drawing a considerable crowd of parents who came to witness the young talents. Parents also praised the school’s efforts for encouraging innovation and providing such a platform for the students.
