Siliguri, 16th October: Siliguri athletes Ankur Barman and Tapaswi Dutta are preparing to represent India at the International Kudo Championship. The Eurasian Cup 2024 will take place in Armenia, marking a significant milestone.
Reportedly, this will be the first time that two competitors from Siliguri will participate in this event. The athletes will compete against countries, including Mongolia, Japan, Armenia, Italy, Iran, Russia, South Korea, Bulgaria, and France.
Ankur and Tapaswi have been training under the guidance of their coach, Sahadev Barman, for an extended period. As a result of their hardwork and resilience, both the athletes have earned them the opportunity to compete at this international level. As they enter the final stages of preparation, both athletes are optimistic about bringing home a gold medal for India.
