Bagdogra, 12th July: In a recent development, the state government has launched the ‘Yatri Sathi’ application to reduce passenger inconvenience. On Friday, the app was inaugurated at the Bagdogra Airport.
During the inauguration event, the Siliguri Metropolitan Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, Traffic DCP Vishwachand Thakur, and Bagdogra Airport Director Mohammad Arif were among those present. The ‘Yatri Sathi’ app aims to raise awareness among passengers and taxi drivers. Significantly, passengers can easily book online, ensuring safety and reducing the hassle of waiting in queues with the help of this app.
In this regard, the director of Bagdogra Airport stated that the use of this service will completely eliminate the role of the middleman for booking hotels and travelling.
