Rajganj,11th March: On Thursday, under the initiative of the Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress, a yajna was organized at the Srisangh Maidan in Rajganj.
Hundreds of party supporters were present along with Rajganj Trinamool candidate Khageswar Roy, Block Trinamool chairman Mosharraf Hussain, president Laikkha Mohan Roy, and youth president Tushar Kanti Dutta.
Khageshwar Roy stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conspired and attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram yesterday. Adding to this, he said that, such incidents will not help BJP succeed in their plans.
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Nandigram to submit the nomination papers, during which, she was allegedly attacked and in the course, sustained severe leg injuries. She has been admitted to the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata for further treatment.
