Neeraj Chopra became India’s first-ever World Athletics Championship gold medalist. Similar to the Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj sealed the deal in his second attempt by launching the javelin to 88.17 m at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary.
The achievements of the 25-year-old star Indian athlete include gold in the Tokyo Olympics (2021), gold in the Asian Games (2018), gold in the Commonwealth Games (2018), gold in Under-20 World Championship (2016), including the Diamond League title in the year 2022.
