Workshop for teachers organized by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in Siliguri

Siliguri, 11th January: A one-day workshop for teachers from various schools was organized in Siliguri by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The workshop was held at the Dinabandhu Mancha in Siliguri.


The workshop was inaugurated by the State Education Minister, Bratyabrata Basu, along with the Secretary of Higher Education, Vinod Kumar, District Magistrate Preeti Goyal, and the President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, Ramanuj Gangopadhyay, among others.

The primary focus of the workshop was to foster tolerance and sensitivity among Bengali medium teachers towards their students. Additionally, discussions were held on initiatives to increase student enrollment in Bengali medium schools.


Speaking to the media, Minister Basu mentioned that the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has taken special initiatives to provide training to school teachers. He further stated that the workshop was being held under the direction of the Chief Minister.
