Mirik, 29th November: A young man died after falling from a building in Krishna Nagar area of Mirik this morning.
According to the information, Rajiv Gurung, a resident of Bhanutol, is a painter by profession. This incident occurred this morning when Rajiv was painting the walls of a building in Krishna Nagar. The bamboo scaffold he was standing on suddenly broke and Rajiv fell from the top floor seriously injuring himself.
Although he was rushed to the nearby Mirik Health Centre, however, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
