Kharibari, 24th July: Women demonstrated over the non-availability of COVID-19 vaccine at Bazarojote Health Centre in Kharibari block.
According to the information received, the COVID-19 vaccine was being given today at the Sub Health Center located at Bazarojote. While only 200 doses were to be given, a large number of people reached the centre to get vaccinated.
Following this, the women who had been standing in the queue since 06 am started protesting after they did not receive the vaccine. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
