Rajganj, 04th October: A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Ambari where a woman tragically lost her life after being hit by a train. The deceased was identified as Ruby Sarkar (40), a resident of Bhotpara in Ambari.
Local sources claimed that the woman, along with her husband, was crossing the railway tracks, on Wednesday, when she was fatally struck by a train heading towards Belakoba. As a result, the woman stumbled and landed on the side of the railway tracks and died on the spot. Upon receiving the information, the Ambari Outpost police and the Railway Police promptly arrived at the scene, recovered the deceased body, and sent it for an autopsy.
