Alipurduar, 10th August: The Falakata Police, on Friday morning, recovered the hanging body of a woman from South Deogaon area of Falakata block. The deceased has been identified as Rahena Khatun (47).
According to local sources, the family members found the woman’s body hanging from a noose at around 10 am in the morning. Following this, the police were informed. Upon receiving the news, the Falakata police reached the spot and recovered the body.
Police have sent the body to Alipurduar District Hospital for autopsy and started an investigation into the whole incident.
