Rajganj, 01st March: Sensation prevailed after a burglary was attempted in the Paschim Dhantala area under Fulbari-2 Gram Panchayat, on Sunday evening. The incident created a stir in the entire area.
As per the reports, two masked robbers broke into a house in the said area and cut off its electricity supply. They then attacked the house owner Sahida Khatoon, stuffed cloth into her mouth, and tied her to the bed. After growing suspicious of the loud noise coming from the house, locals rushed to Sahida’s aid. However, the miscreants managed to escape the scene.
The incident was reported to the NJP police. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
