Woman Air Force official injured in head-on collision between car and bus in Bagdogra

Siliguri, 07th May: A horrifying accident near the Bagdogra Airport left a woman Air Force official injured. The collision occurred between a government bus and a four-wheeler on the National Highway (NH) 31.


According to reports, the four-wheeler reportedly, taking off from the Bagdogra Air Force Base, collided head-on with the passenger bus en route from Islampur to Siliguri. During this, the Air Force official suffered significant injuries. Subsequently, she was rescued and rushed to the Air Force Hospital.

Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the Bagdogra police arrived at the scene and took both the vehicles under custody. At present, the entire incident is under further investigation. On the other hand, the bus driver Mohammad Ali confirmed that the accident took place due to his sudden appearance in front of the four-wheeler.

    Nbstc buses drive recklessly and without any care for others on the road. The officer should take legal action against Nbstc. Also traffic police in siliguri are a bunch of incompetent observers.
