Gajoldoba, 31st October: An elephant was spotted enjoying a refreshing bath in the waters of the Teesta Canal near Gajoldoba, displaying a playful side that caught the attention of passersby.
The elephant was seen entering the canal and splashing water with its trunk before dipping itself into the water for a bath. It continued to enjoy the water for quite some time.
The unusual sight attracted people travelling along the road, many of whom stopped to watch the elephant’s playful activities. Some also captured the moment on their mobile phone cameras.
The elephant’s playful bathing session in the Teesta Canal, away from the forest, became a special attraction for passersby.
