Alipurduar, 5th May: A house was damaged in a wild elephant attack in the Madhu tea garden area of the Alipurduar district.
Reportedly, the wild elephant from the forest of Buxa Tiger Reserve entered the said area, destroying the wall of the Madhu tea factory.
In search of food, the elephant attacked the house of a local named Balinder Rajak. Following this, the elephant attacked Prashant Baig’s shop and went back to the forest after eating all the rice and potatoes stored in the shop.
