WB Panchayat Polls 2023: Re-polling underway in 19 districts

Voting process was underway once again on Monday across 19 districts of the state at 696 booths. The re-polling is being undertaken for the Panchayat elections where the voting has been declared void in view of violence and tampering of ballot boxes. Reportedly today the voting is in process in the presence of four central forces personnel in each polling booth. According to State Election Commission (SEC) sources, re-polling is in process with no major untoward incidents at the time of reports.
