During a press conference at Nabanna on Wednesday, State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced new lockdown dates for the month of September, i.e, 7, 11 and 12.
The CM stated that considering the COVID-19 situation in the state, schools and colleges will be closed till September 20.
As per the information, several days had also been allotted for lockdown in the list including September 3 and 4, however, due to joint entrance examinations on the said dates, lockdown will be observed on September 7, 11 and 12. Banerjee stated that a meeting will be held after September 20 regarding next lockdown dates.
