Siliguri, 23rd March: The Darjeeling district Bharatiya Janata Party, on Tuesday, held a press conference at the party office in Siliguri and released its manifesto for the upcoming Bengal assembly elections. Tarun Gupta, Khushboo Mittal, Kamal Ghosh, Ranabir Majumdar, Amitlal Chakraborty, and other party leaders were present at the conference.
The manifesto has made multiple promises, including employment, the introduction of the Seventh Pay Commission, and the reservation of 33 percent seats for women in state government jobs. The manifesto has given special emphasis on women.
