Siliguri, 04th April: Ashok Bhattacharya, the Left candidate of the Siliguri assembly Sanjukta Morcha (CPIM-Congress-ISF), campaigned in various wards of the city, on Sunday.
Bhattacharya along with Rinki Das, the co-ordinator of Ward No. 22, campaigned through a grand procession which was actively participated by a large number of activists and supporters.
In view of the pollution in the city’s Mahananda river, Bhattacharya said that the river could be revived under the central government’s Mahananda Action Plan.
