Islampur, 22nd April: Islampur Assembly BJP candidate Dr Saumyaroop Mandal along with his wife, cast their vote at Booth No. 29/134 of Hindi Primary School in Ward 07 of Islampur Municipality.
He later addressed the media and stated that he is hopeful of winning the elections by a huge margin. So far, voting is going on peacefully in the region. Strict surveillance is being kept by the central forces at the sensitive booths.
