Was offered Deputy CM position in 2020 by TMC: Suvendu Adhikari

Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari stated that he was offered the position of Deputy Chief Minister (CM) in the year 2020 by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) Party. According to reports, on Wednesday, while addressing a political gathering in Egra, the BJP leader stated that he was offered the post on the 1st of December 2020, days before he joined BJP after discarding the TMC party.
