Kharibari, 06th January: Warm clothes were distributed, today, among the workers of the closed tea gardens in Panighata and Naxalbari on behalf of the Sahamarmi Sanstha of Raiganj.
Naxalbari Alor Path Yatri assisted in conducting the event. Jhuma Mitra, the Secretary of the Sahamarmi Sanstha, President S. Ghosh and 20 members, Dharmendra Pathak from Naxalbari Alor Path Yatri, Abhishek Ghosh, Om Prakash Chettri and many others were present during the event.
Dharmendra Pathak informed that the members of the Sahamarmi Sanstha of Raiganj provided warm clothes to 1000 workers of the Manjha Tea Garden of Naxalbari and the closed tea garden of Panighata.
