Siliguri, 23rd January: On Wednesday, the Ward Utsav “Navodaya” 2025 began in Ward No. 01 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The festival commenced with a lively rally celebrating freedom fighters and social reformers. The rally started from the Siliguri Junction and traveled to various areas within the ward.
The festival will continue until January 31. Notable figures, including Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, SMC Chairman Pratul Chakraborty, MMIC members, and Ward Councillor Sanjay Pathak, attended the event.
Ward Councillor Sanjay Pathak emphasized that this festival aims to promote unity and brotherhood among Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians.
