Siliguri, 16th August: ‘Khela Hobe Diwas’ is being celebrated across the state. The day is being observed through various programmes on behalf of the Trinamool Congress.
On Monday, the Ward no-37 Trinamool Yuva Congress organized a Sabuj Sathi cycle race. The race commenced from Farabari Nepali School and concluded at Ghogomali High School. The race was organized in two sections for boys and girls. The prizes were distributed by Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb.
Darjeeling District Yuva TMC President Kuntal Roy, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, and other party workers and activists were present at the programme.
Goutam Deb said that the day is being celebrated across the state. Football and other competitions will be held throughout the day.
