Siliguri, 28th July: The voluntary organization Nirbak Aranyak has organized a sterilization camp for stray dogs. The initiative aims to sterilize approximately 100 stray dogs in the area.
The three-day camp is being held near Baneswar More, adjacent to the Eastern Bypass in Siliguri. The dogs will undergo sterilization and will be returned to their original locations. On Sunday, the last day of the camp, Mayor Gautam Deb paid a visit and commended the initiative.
Mayor Deb stated that the number of stray dogs in Siliguri has been increasing, and this camp will help control the numbers.
