Naxalbari, 15th August: The Vivekananda Club in Naxalbari has commenced preparations for their second year of Durga Puja with a traditional ‘Khutti puja’ ceremony. This year’s theme features an elaborate decoration and lighting inspired by the Red Fort in Delhi.
Additionally, a variety of events will be organized throughout the Puja days. On Thursday, Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh of the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad attended the ‘Khutti puja’ ceremony. He noted that last year’s event had garnered significant attention and expressed confidence that this year’s Puja would be even more impressive.
